Q: I have no experience in care work - is this a problem? A: We don't expect anyone to perform tasks that are beyond their skills / experience. All
our carers undertake a thorough Induction Training Programme before starting work. Once successfully through your
probabtionary period you will be encouraged to register for your NVQ Level 2 in Care. We will make all the arrangements
for you and offer any additional support you need during the programme.
Q: How many hours could I work? A: Alpha offers full and part time hours to suit individual carers. Your availability and
preferred working schedule would be discussed fully with you should you join our team.
Q: Do I need a car? A: Yes. All our carers do need to have their own transport to travel from one call to the
another and will be asked to produce valid driving licence and insurance documents prior to commencement of employment.
